I’m Richard Sedley and I work for Seren as Director of Design. I’m also an Associate Faculty Director at the Chartered Institute of Marketing. (I held the position of Course Director for Social Media for five years.)

This site is the place I publish my thoughts about the service design and customer experience industry I work in, customer engagement and my interest in customer psychology. I also publish a Tumblog call De.loop.ious which I mainly use to capture stuff I find interesting and you can find me on most other social media in particular Twitter and Instagram

About eight months before the last recession hit the UK I co-authored the book Winners and Losers in a Troubled Economy: How to engage customers online for competitive advantage.

Oh yes, and the title for this site comes from an album of the same name by Richard H Kirk – Loopstatic [amine B ring modulations] . (It’s called Loopstatic 2 because this is the second time I’ve used this name for a blog.)
