Back in January 2006 when were setting up the Customer Engagement Unit I wrote a discussion paper called ‘The death of digital’. It was based on the recognition that digital was becoming increasingly central to effective business activity, so much so in fact that pretty soon all business would become digital thus rendering the distinction between digital and non-digital irrelevant. So no need to even mention digital – hence its death.
